Dr. John Watters, II (Jack) and his wife Carol were both born and raised in Western Pennsylvania, just outside of Pittsburgh. Following a tour of duty in the U.S. Army Dental Corps during the Vietnam era, Carol and Jack moved to Charlotte County in 1970. He worked at the Charlotte County Health Department providing dental care for indigent children before opening his practice. Carol taught at both Charlotte High School and Charlotte Technical Center for many years. They have two children: son, John, is a physician in Hendersonville, NC with his wife and two children; daughter, Heather, is a Clinical Therapist in Norfolk, VA with her husband who is a career Naval officer presently serving in Iraq. Jack's community involvements have included: Past Elder - Presbyterian Church, Troop Leader - Boy Scouts of America, YMCA Youth Soccer Coach, Staff at Fawcett Hospital, and Past President of Charlotte County Dental Society. He has served on the Board of Directors for the YMCA, United Way and Chamber of Commerce.
