Dr. John Watters, II (Jack) and his wife Carol were both born and raised in Western Pennsylvania, just outside of Pittsburgh. Following a tour of duty in the U.S. Army Dental Corps during the Vietnam era, Carol and Jack moved to Charlotte County in 1970. He worked at the Charlotte County Health Department providing dental care for indigent children before opening his practice. Carol taught at both Charlotte High School and Charlotte Technical Center for many years. They have two children, John and Heather.  John is a physician caring for Veterans at a VA hospital in Pittsburgh.  He and his wife Shannon have two daughters, Emily and Allie. Heather is a Clinical Psychologist and her husband Martin is a career naval officer.  They are currently serving a three year deployment at Pearl Harbor.  Heather and Martin have two twin boys, John and Nathan.  Dr. Watters community involvements have included: Past Elder - Presbyterian Church, Troop Leader - Boy Scouts of America, YMCA Youth Soccer Coach, Staff at Fawcett Hospital, and Past President of Charlotte County Dental Society. He has served on the Board of Directors for the YMCA, United Way, Chamber of Commerce and Charlotte Technical Center.
